Jamie Cesa General Manger

An independent producer and general manager, Jamie recently general managed the off-Broadway hit comedy, WHITE CHOCOLATE for the critically acclaimed theatre company, The Culture Project, starring Lynn Whitfield. He has served as the Acting General Manager of Cherry Lane Theatre where he general managed OPEN HEART, written by and starring Robby Benson, as well as four new plays as part of the 2004 Mentor Project. Jamie currently produces the “TOP 10 LONGEST RUNNING OFF-BROADWAY SHOW”, NAKED BOYS SINGING! - now in its 6th year off-Broadway and has licensed and supervised productions of NBS! in over twenty cities around the world. In a special arrangement with The New Group, he produced THE WOMEN OF LOCKERBIE which starred two time Tony Award ® winner Judith Ivey and was awarded the Kennedy Center Playwrights Competition and the Onassis Foundation Award for Best New Play. He produced the one-man show, 21 DOG YEARS: DOING TIME @ AMAZON.COM, written by and starring Mike Daisey and was an Associate Producer of the Janis Joplin musical LOVE, JANIS . His first production was the Outer Critics’ Circle and Drama League “Best Musical” nominee, THE LAST SESSION which played off-Broadway at the 47th Street Theatre.
